Forget the work bench within the workshop against a wall where all the tools are hanging in their rightful place.

Most Fujairah tradesmen prefer to operate on the floor or outside their shop on the dirt or concrete.

Walk around the streets of Fujairah and you’ll see motors being taken apart on the ground, new bicycles and office furniture being assembled in front of the shops and steel welded on the footpaths.

It may be due to a lack of space inside or the sunny weather conditions outside but Fujairah workmen are amazing adept and content at plying their trade in the most ordinary and cramped conditions.
