In addition to the Tourist Night Souk on the southern side of the Fujairah International Marine Club, a small heritage souk is being established on the northern side of the Club House within the grounds of the Marine Club.This is being created out of traditional materials with thatched roofing and it will comprise ten stalls from which heritage souvenirs, Arabic bread, Arabic sweets and coffee will be sold and served.
This is another initiative of the Managing Director of the Marine Club, Major Ahmed Ibrahim Mohammed Darak.
The heritage souk will be a great attraction, especially on the days when boating, fishing and swimming competitions are held by the Marine Club.
